November 4, 2009 - News has come that Fifa 09 Interactive Leagues has been closed since July 2009 although some of the leagues were still on.

Some of the players that wanted to get the "Real World Winner" trophy/achivement are unable to get it forever, thus creating a Petition for EA to listen.

"To:  Electronic Art

This petition will be send to EA to show them that the customers still want the Real World Winner trophy and the Platinum trophy to be attainable.

-Real World Winner trophy was only attainable during 2 months and 2 weeks (March 19th to June 3rd) because the Interactive League was closed so early.
-The trophy was glitched (players had to win more than 5 games to unlock it).
-The game was still in stores all over the world when the trophy became unattainable, so they were selling a broken product because we can’t complete the game 100%.

EA customer service was telling, during the summer when asked, that the Interactive league will open again for fifa 09, but nothing has happened.
EA will never reopen Interactive League, that’s for sure (because of the licence)

With your signatures we are asking EA to patch the game to make the Platinum trophy still attainable.
There is 4 options :
#1 : Giving the "Real World Winner" trophy to everyone
#2 : Change it to "5 ranked wins"
#3 : This trophy doesn't count for platinum
#4 : Remove this trophy from the game

Option #1 is good for every players, and very easy to program for the developers.
